The Annual Neu America Fine Art Festival
September 28 – September 29, 2012. New America Fine Art Festival wants to give the Florida artists the opportunity to show their creativity, passion and vision as well as to increase the availability of art to a wider audience. RULES AND ELIGIBILITY 1. Artists must be Florida residents. 2. All work must have been created between 2011 and 2012. 3. All work must be for sale and be the original work of the artist. 4. The artist must reflect a level of quality that warrants his participation in the event. Work that has been created with commercial purposes will not be accepted. 5. The total registration fee is $80 dollars. Artists must send, along with payment, the photographs or slides to evaluate the work. 6. The organization reserves the right to keep $ 20 dollars as a non-refundable jury fee, if the work does not meet the standards of quality. 7. The monetary prizes will be awarded only to first and second place. 8. The prizes will be awarded to the artist during the closing ceremony. 9. Payments will be processed by the organization of the event. Payments for work sold will be made within four weeks after the end of the event. 10. The organization of the event will receive 40% commission on all sales during the event. 11. Each artist may enter a maximum of 4 original works. Entries may be work in any medium; each must be ready for hanging and with the title, artist’s name and price. 12. The judges’ decision will be final 13. The organization reserves the right to display works at their discretion if it is considered inappropriate or if it is different from the artwork electronically submitted by the artist. NOTICE: The event is not responsible for any injury that may arise to exhibitors and guests, or for damage, loss or theft of valuables or property from any cause whatsoever during the event. |

REQUIREMENTS
1. The artist must submitted electronically to edemuel@nafaf.com a brief biography and a statement that reflects his artistic vision, as well 4 photographs of the artwork as jpg, 8 ½” by 11”, color. Label each with title, size, medium and price. 2. The Artist must fill out the application and must send the payment, including a stamped envelope with the application in case of refund. 3. Categories accepted: Painting (drawing – Mixed Media) and Sculpture. 4. DEADLINE TO REGISTER, PAY AND SUBMIT ARTWORK: August 30, 2012. 5. The artist must accept and follow the rules and guidelines of the event. His signature will signify that he has understood the guidelines and requirements. 6. The artist must participate in all activities related to the event. 7. The artist must inform the organization of the event if he cannot participate in the event. 8. Works to be no smaller than 22 inches wide and 28 inches tall, and no longer than 4 feet wide and 5 feet tall. |
